Commissioned works 30.09.2024

Composer, improviser and multimedia artist Isandro Ojeda-Garcìa, born in Seville in 1989, is interested in written and improvised music, experimental poetry, video installations and the construction of sound objects. Ojeda is a singular voice, constantly in search of new sources of artistic material and aesthetics. Pushing the limits of digital systems and devices to the extreme, his work configures a hybrid imaginary of great power.

Based since 2012 between Switzerland and France, Isandro Ojeda-Garcìa trained in Geneva simultaneously at the Haute École de Musique and the Haute École d'Art et de Design with Daniel Zea, Michael Jarrell and Pascal Dusapin, and later in Bern at the Hoschule der Künste Bern with Cathy Van Eck, Stefan Prins and Simon Steen-Andersen.
At the same time, he honed his skills with the likes of Alexander Schubert, Franck Bedrossian, Fred Frith, Pierre Jodlowski and Rebecca Saunders.

His music has been programmed and presented at events such as Forum Wallis 2014, XII Festival de Música Española de Cádiz - Manuel de Falla, Barcelona's Mixtur Festival in 2015 and 2018, Monaco Électroacoustique 2015, Festival Futura 2015, XXXVII Foro Internacional de Música Nueva de México D.F., Festival Archipel 2016, Mallorca Saxophone Festival 2018, XVIII World Saxophone Congress and Impuls Festival 2019 in Graz, Consortoum de Dijon 2020. She has also performed with ensembles such as Taller Sonoro, Proyecto Ocnos, Ensemble du Bout du Monde, Ensemble Vortex and Nadar Ensemble.
